Studio 666 (2022)

Studio 666 opens with a gruesome murder at an Encino mansion in the 1990s. In the present day, Foo Fighters are looking for a studio space that will inspire their tenth album. Their manager (Jeff Garlin) knowingly suggests the Encino mansion of lore. Once settled, the house beings to turn on the band and even their neighbor, played by Whitney Cummings (Whitney), warns them she senses an evil about the house. As the band gets warier, Dave gets more excited, finding the solution to his writer's block in the mansion's creepy basement. From that point on, it's a race to see if the band will make it out or if Dave will keep them inside.

During a meeting with their record label, the Foo Fighters admit that they are having a difficult time writing their tenth studio album, with Grohl suffering from writer's block (I feel his pain - coming up with clever things to write on a deadline isn't always easy). When record exec, Jeremy Shill (Jeff Garlin; Curb Your Enthusiasm), offers a place they can go to write and record, the band is hesitant but agrees.

The story of Studio 666 follows the Foo Fighters as they work to record their 10th studio album. With the creative juices running dry, Grohl and company arrange to use an old mansion to record the new record. With the full band in tow (Taylor Hawkins, Rami Jaffee, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear, and Nate Mendel), they all move into the Encino based mansion and work to take full advantage of the acoustics the demonic dwelling provides.
